Polishing Set – Wood

This polishing set is designed for the Practical Life area, supporting the child’s development of coordination, concentration, and independence through real, purposeful work.

The set includes a child-sized apron designed to fit children approximately 3 to 6 years old. The elastic sides allow the child to put the apron on independently, without ties, bows, or adult assistance.

Instead of traditional square cloths, this set includes polishing mittens, which offer the child greater control during polishing work. The mitten shape supports the hand and helps guide the polishing movement, allowing many children to experience greater success.

A crocheted cleaning sponge is used at the end of the work to gently remove any remaining residue and to clean the underlay mat if needed. The underlay mat defines the work space and protects the table surface throughout the activity.
